Hmm. I've read the setup, and with the roles we had, I'm not sure it's actually possible for the Mafia to win this game. Every townie needs to be killed twice. That's ridiculously hard to accomplish.

How did you guys come to the conclusion that the Mafia in this game was in any way balanced?

You all had safeclaims, you also needed to be killed twice, the investigations roles are unreliable at best (and random.org gave you one of them, essentially neutralising it). It's true we should have thought of a way to compensate the drawback of having one less kill per cycle than the town does (not even counting vigs). It flew right over our heads :-/.

Ced will win this game, unless the Town can get it into their heads that one of the Masons must be scum. I thought it was SO, but apparently it's Ced. SO's behavior is not helping in that regards.

And with this game, I am beginning to be rather leery of playing with Ced in the same game. I simply cannot help but read him as town in every single game we are in. I think from now on in every game, I'll aim any investigative or vigging shot at his head just to make sure he is really town.

Yea, well, kpaca has more influence outside of the mafia sub-forum as compared with ced.

I'm now berating myself for trusting ZDS about my jester WC. Never trust a Frenchman. Sad

After offering the carrot of a one-shot euthanist to the Town, I was trying to stay very low under the radar. I didn't want people to continue thinking they should keep me alive because I'm a useful analyst to have around. If only I forcefully pushed for SO's lynch first. Gah!

And now Skander is most likely going to die tonight. And RO and Ace the day after. What exactly was RO planning to do at night?

I'm one third baffled, one third amazed and one third laughing my ass off when I see the plans Bilbro and Ced came up with. Bringing everyone down to one life is possibly the worst thing to do in this game. They are completely negating the scum disadvantage of only having one kill per night.

For the record, I think some of the PRs cause certain players to play... sub-optimally.

They would rather indulge in random PRs talk than to really scumhunt.

I understand the need to enjoy a game and all, but I think it's rather pointless to play a game without trying to achieve its objective.
